Dear Board Strength Survey Participant, Great boards periodically pause and take stock regarding how they are doing in the execution of their governance responsibilities. As part of that process, we are requesting your participation in the Board Strength Survey™, which will provide us with helpful insight as to how we can be most effective in our governance oversight as a board. This survey is a short, but powerful, online diagnostic designed specifically for nonprofit boards, and it provides a wealth of helpful, relevant feedback regarding governance. Your answers, combined with those of your fellow board members, will be compiled and provided in a report for you to read and discuss as a board. Please keep the following guidelines in mind as you fill out the Board Strength Survey. • Please complete the survey by 06/27/2013. • Be candid – your answers are anonymous and the results will be presented only in summary form. • When applicable, please provide supporting comments to your responses.
